Black Boxes Over Certain Lots

Question

Hello friends -&nbsp;I’m on a MacBook Air (M2, 2022) - Monterey Version 22.6.5I have had new issues with game crashes, and black boxes over certain lots in the worlds? I have tried the troubleshooting (repairing the game), renaming Sims 4 folder and starting a new save file, to no avail. The black boxes remain!&nbsp;I was kinda working around it, but today I opened the game and it had cleared out sooo many households, they were just - gone? I’m sure something must be really wrong.Totally vanilla player, no mods. Never have had this happen before!&nbsp;Thanks for your time :)

Current version of Monterey is 12.7.6, you should at least update to that in System Settings &gt; General &gt; Software Update and see if that helps with the issue. Is there a reason you're not updating your OS to the current one, Sequoia 15.3.1?
When you say households are gone, is this just specific households at the map screen or whole saves? Check your iCloud settings for missing user data - [READ FIRST] Saves, CC/Mods or Library items disappeared? iCloud issues | EA Forums - 10979712&nbsp;

Hello! Thank you for your quick response - I have now updated my computer, and completely ditched the old saves. That did seem to repair the black box issue? But it’s still crashing, and the quests are blank after reloading into the game :(

Any next steps or last resorts?

Great....-ish! What do you meant the quests are blank? A screenshot shows be great please.
