Brindleton bay screen freeze

For starters I would like to point out that I play Sims 4 on a MacBook Air. I also have no idea if this counts as a bug or mac glitch but anyways. So recently I have been trying to play a regular game of sims on brindleton bay and I choose the lot "Tail's end". The lot itself works completely fine but the issue is when I try to scroll around and look at the area around (whiskermans wharf) . Every time I scroll over the dock and bar area by the plot my screen completely freezes. Whats weird is that I can still click on things but I have no idea what i'm clicking on because my screen is frozen. its also only that area because when I click on my sim profile to go back to my sim my screen unfreezes and also i just dont have the freezing problem with any other area in brindleton bay. I've never had this problem before and i did try just re downloading my packs and it did help the issue for one day but when I logged on the next day it was glitching again. I just really want to play with brindleton bay but I just don't know how to fix this. I do have CC but i don't have a lot of it and also i've had CC for a while and have never had this issue. And also it does this on every save game i try to play. Please help!
