can't find my usb in the game library location when I go to change the folder
Hi ! So I have the sims 4 on my Mac and recently have gotten some new cc/mods, which takes up a lot of storage. Im trying to figure out how to put my mods folder on a usb to save some space. I have figured out how to transfer it onto there, but I can't figure out how to change the location for origin. When I go to application settings and game library location, there is no option to select my USB. I have tried everything and can't find any specific answers. Please help!

You have to create a symlink for the game to read user data in any other location other than in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 - https://bluebellflora.com/saving-your-sims-4-folder-to-an-external-drive/
