Can't install the game! (setLocale.zsh error)

Today after I updated mac system, Origin and the sims 4, I can't install the sims 4.

Everytime I tried it showed:

Error: A redistributable package (setLocale.zsh) was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue.⚽

😢 Don't know how to solve it.

I have reinstalled the game, changed the language but no use.

    Marking as solution for visibility


    The set locale.zsh error should now be fixed in Mac patch 1.63.133.1220 (3 June). Make sure your game AND Origin are updated.

    @feifeifeicarryon Curious. That second item is the script it's reporting can't be installed.

    Does The Sims 4 launch and run for you from the Origin client? What about if you double-click on it in Finder?

    @MaxisJoe No..And I uninstalled the game yesterday so now I don't have the game's icon in Finder.. I am trying to reset the Origin. Now the Origin window is installing the latest version of Origin, but it is really slow..

    the exact same thing is happening to me and i have a mac air. I think is happening to ALL mac, due to the last update...  i have no idea what to donde

    @89_abc_288918 It is not happening to all Macs. That's not really important though. It's happening to YOUR Mac. Let's see if we can stop it.

    Even after that message, does The Sims 4 actually launch for you? Are you able to double-click it in Finder and have the game open?

    @MaxisJoe After I could not finished the latest game update and had the error message, I have tried to double clicked the icon in Finder but the same message showed up. So I uninstalled the whole game. At first it started to download, but suddenly the same error message appeared. So I don't have an icon now...Later I ran the command in Terminal and got the output.

    no. it doesnt even open. 

    just a sign that says:

    Unable to start:

     

    Initialization error at start up.

    @feifeifeicarryon That is very curious. If the program got uninstalled those files should not have been left behind.

    Once you have finished the clean Origin repair, let's revisit this.

    @MaxisJoe Sorry to bother.. But I have finished the reset of the Origin, but the same message appeared..I still can't install the game ( can't start the installation)..
