Deleted EA folder on mac! Can't find it or install mods. Please help?

I deleted my EA folder from my 2015 MacBook Air a long time ago mistakenly. Now, whenever I try to open the Sims 4, it works fine but I can't use mods. Now there is no EA folder in my Documents. Plea...

When you launch the game a new Sims 4 folder should be created in Documents > Electronic Arts. The Electronic Arts folder will also be created if there isn't already one there. If you launch your game, play for a bit, save and then quit, can you successfully load your save game when you next launch your game?

It won't work for me either. I followed your websites that are recommended. i have the box thing unchecked. i had it unchecked before. if you open up the documents there is nothing. what should i do?

  Please can you clarify your problem? What are you referring to with "box thing unchecked"?

@Bluebellflora when i play a game or make a sim it allows me to save and resume after re-opening the sims but i cannot for the life of me find the electronic arts folder which is weird since i uninstalled and reinstalled the sims :/
