Dock showing over game when in full screen

Hi,

I’ve always played on windows PC but recently started playing on Mac. All seemed well to begin with. But in the last month the Dock on my MacBook keeps over lapping the game! It’s really frustrating as I can’t click anything near the bottom of the game screen because the dock pops up over the top. I’ve tried turning auto hide on and off, I’ve tried moving the dock, I’ve even tried making it as small as possible and still nothing works! It even does this in windows mode!!!

Are there any solutions to this at all?!
