e Sims 4 for my Mac.

I would like to buy The Sims 4 for my Mac. However, it is quite a lot of money for the code and I wondered what happens if the game doesn't work?

Also, could anyone please tell me more about the purchase process?

    If the game won't work on your Mac, you can return it and get your money back. Conditions apply, please read this article for more information about this: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/returns-and-cancellations This only applies to games bought on the Origin store, third party stores may have different refund policies.

    Purchase process is very simple, you need to download the Origin cliente from here and install in your Mac, or login with your EA account to Origin.com, search for The Sims 4 on the Origin Store and click the Buy button. You can pay with different methods like credit/debit card or PayPal.

    Once you buy the game, you'll need to install the Origin client to install and play the game. Simply download and install Origin for Mac, login with your EA account and go to Games library, click on The Sims 4 and select Download, installation of the game will start. Origin is mandatory and you'll need to open it always in order to play The Sims 4.

    Is it similar to WildTangent Games where you buy a game through the app / website and play there?

    @TheSims201000 ,

    You can't play The Sims 4 via website, you need the Origin client app and install the game on you hard drive, which can take several GB of storage.

    The Origin client works as an authorizer, it detects your EA account with The Sims 4 purchased it let you play the game. If you login onto Origin with another EA account, without The Sims 4 purchased, Origin won't let you play the game.
