Error [135dec40:90f690cf:00000075:495f32a0] (HELP!!)

I have played the Sims 4 on my MacBook Air in Origin since December 2017 (as of today it is September 15th 2018) and I have had problems with Origin before, but I could just reinstall the app and it would be fine. But this error (135dec40:90f690cf:00000075:495f32a0) DOES NOT WORK.

I have tried: Closing Origin and opening it again. Removing it and reinstalling it. Logged out and in again. Turn my Mac off and then back on. Repaired the game in Origin. Updated it.

Nothing has worked so far.... It makes me really frustrated because of the amount of time I have used on getting this far in the game (and of course the MONEY I have spent on it...) Is there any way of fixing this at all without loosing anything in the game?? Or better, use something ELSE than Origin as I have often had trouble before?....

@dzm06 I actually found those suggestions/instructions online and followed them. It did not work. However, I will try again right now to see if I did something wrong the previous time.

@lehoeven Try this:

Change the language to something other than English
Do a "repair game"
See if it launches with the foreign language

@dzm06 In the end I decided to disable SIP. I know it is a risk and I enable it again once I’m done playing. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it because it makes your Mac no longer secure, but it worked haha.

@lehoeven Disabling SIP somehow fixed this? That's really interesting! How did you come to this solution? Do you have any idea why it might have helped? Anything you can tell me about this solution would be REALLY interesting. (Plus, also, I'd encourage you not to do it and to try the language-changing-dance above just to be sure 🙂 )

@dzm06 I found something online on an Apple related website that this fixed an issue about updating to MacOS Mojave, so I figured I’d give it a try. I believe it is similar to a solution I found for Windows when a security check program blocked Origin for some reason. I will try the language change thing next time I play and will come back to you! 🙂
