It turns out there was indeed a fix for this issue in todays' patch (Mac version 1.95.207.1230), but we accidentally failed to mention it in the patch notes.

Edit - In your previous comment here you confirmed your Mac has Ventura installed. Have merged your posts into the main thread again.
I'm still having this exact same issue, I contacted EA support and they directed me here. The person I talked with said they sent my error code or something to management and they will be looking into. It seems there's still no fix. Its a bummer because I can't be the only one that deleted their entire game (including CC and mods) just for it to still not work.

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro running on Venture 13.0.1 and my game doesn't close anymore and the Mods don't work. Everything is up to date with the game and mods, and I have repaired the game twice in the Origin app and have deleted and redownloaded the mods. I only use MC Command Center and UI Cheat Extension which do not work at all in-game, and the game will save but then when it goes to close I get the pin wheel and it never closes so I have to force close it. I have also moved the EA file and let it Origin repopulate a new one incase of corrupted cashe or whatever LOL........

I have no idea what this means or which EA file you are referring to but it won’t fix the freezing issue as that is a known issue with Ventura on Intel Macs. Moved your post into the main thread on this issue.
