Game goes unresponsive after a few minutes of playing.

After a few minutes of playing my sims4 screen goes black and unresponsive. I have tried the 50/50 method countless times, removed my mods folder, removed my entire sims4 file to start a fresh one, updated all my mods with the recent update.......still nothing. I'm tired of having to sort out soo many mods and cc and I can't find the root of the problem. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Maybe it's time I consider playing vanilla.
