Game has been crashing since purchasing business and hobbys pack

Ever since I got the new pack my game has been unplayable. I was hoping the new update would fix things, but I just tried to play and was not able to be online for more than 2 minutes without it immediately crashing. I want to create a new case on EA but I cannot figure out how to do it anymore. It seems like they are hiding the option to create a new case. Please let me know if any of you had the same problem and were able to fix it, or how to submit a case to EA. The EA app itself also seems to be bugged out because it is not displaying the icon properly, it’s like a grey grid on the app icon. I have removed the mods folder entirely to see if that was the issue and nothing changed.
