game stuck on 3x speed, but the clock stays frozen & game becomes unresponsive

(playing on a macbook with the EA app and my game broke today after the update) I have no mods or cc, in fact i removed my mods folder, deleted the localthumb cache file thingy, even removed my sims 4 folder and opened the game and it started a new blank game but the issue persisted. also I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, and also repaired it a few times. But no matter what my game gets stuck at 4:26 am, and the world speeds up as in the graphics are in 3x speed, but the clock stays the same and my game becomes unresponsive. I cant click anything, i cant save, i cant quit, i have to just go force quit. Im exhausted because I've tried everything its clearly not the save file since the same thing happened in a new one, and its not any mods or cache or any issue that clicking repair can solve. I attached screenshots of my sims folder from my finder, and also my mac info. I'm sorry if I didn't explain the glitch well its weird and hard to explain its like stuck with 3x graphics but nothing else is responding at all and the clock is frozen... please let me know if anyone knows anything about this glitch! All I did was update my game and I'm super sad cause I wanted to play today but couldn't at all :( thanks!
