Greyed out 'Manage Worlds'

Two weeks ago, my game worked normally. For the last two weeks, I haven't been able to load my households. When I open The Sims4, I only have the option to CAS. When I click on the options menu, "Manage Worlds" is greyed out and the message 'Manage Worlds and Switch Households are not available in this mode'. I don't know what mode I'm in as I've done nothing special to enter a mode. 

I went through the Troubleshooting chat with an EA support staffer and they weren't able to help. I uninstalled Origin, uninstalled The Sims, cleared the cache, I've done everything that was suggested and nothing is working. Just wanna know how I can play my game.

    @lovepeacecreate 

    That message is correct at the main menu screen as you haven't loaded a save. You need to start a new game as prompted top right of the menu.

    Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following search command then hit Enter/Return:

    find ~ -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null

    After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
