    @crinrict Hey Crin,

    My Macbook is from 2011. It is now deemed old and will no longer take new updates for iOS/Apple anything. The solution I have is to just buy a new Macbook.

Does your Mac not support metal ? What's your mode and MacOS ?

If you are sure that you need it, please contact support as posted by @jpkarlsen above for a refund.

    We can't give refunds here. We're users like you.

    Here's a list of macs that support metal: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205073. If you have any of these and your MacOS is at least updated to El Capitan, you don't need the legacy edition and you can use Uni.

    If your mac doesn't support Metal, you need the legacy edition and should try get a refund for Uni through Support.

    If your mac does support Metal but you're still running MacOS Lion, it's recommended to update your OS.
