How do I uninstall Sims 3 from Mac OS El Capitan?

(SOLVED: Downloaded App Cleaner from App Store. It found App and I was able to delete. Origins had stored Sims 3 files in different location to all delete guides on internet)

How do I uninstall Sims 3 from Mac OS El Capitan?

Game folder in Applications missing, but game icon visible in Launchpad and game playable. Can't track game with spotlight.

So you have no Sims 3 folder in your Applications folder, no Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts and you deleted every single hidden Library file and folder, but your game is still launching from Launchpad?

@Bluebellflora I don't see anywhere that mentions hidden folders in the previous link? 🙂
I went through all the steps and I deleted all the folders/files that were mentioned. It's really weird, I'm baffled how the game is still able to be launched and playable with the files gone + trash emptied. It's worth mentioning I installed the game via. Origin - does that mean anything? Cheers.

The Library folder is hidden. That's why you have to hold down the Option key to make it appear 🙂

So it's still playing? Do you have it installed on an external drive? Origin shouldn't make a difference at all. Have the hidden files and folders recreated themselves after you launched it again?

In Origin where is it set to install games to? It should be your Applications folder.
