So i've looked through many of these but I can't find answers that work. ☹️ So basically overnight i downloaded my Sims 3 base and all my expansion packs, then i installed them all. I'm pretty sure it is Sims 3 University causing the problem because as i was installing it something came up which it didn't say for the rest. I pressed OK and continued. Now it says:
DOWNLOAD IN PROGRESS
Launching this game while a download is in progress can negativley impact gameplay. Are you sure you want o continue?
(Download bar at 100%)
Like I do, i pressed PLAY NOW and as i pressed the play button it crashed. I can't launch the game or play. I've had this game for a long time with about 1500 hours of gameplay and this has never happened even through all the different computers i've had. Please help!
(While i tried to install the second expansion pack to see if i could overlap it, it kept crashing. Thanks in advance!
Info:
I've tried:
Restarting computer, logging out and in, downloading another different expansion
Expansion packs:
Base, Late Night, Pets, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life

I've moved your post to this one where all the information users post with this issue can be consolidated.
Firstly, please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162
Can you try the following, testing to see if the step works before moving onto the next one:
- Download and use the Origin reset tool from here - http://help.ea.com/uk/article/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/
- Launching the game from within your Applications folder instead of through Origin
- Disable your wifi/wired connection so your Mac is not connected to the internet at all then try launching from the App in your Applications folder
- With Origin open click on Origin in the menu bar, then Preferences then Advanced. Scroll down and check the box to enable Safe Mode Downloading. Leave this enabled to move onto the next step.
- Manually uninstall the EP/SP that is showing the 100% progress bar then try downloading it again. Manual uninstall instructions here - https://bluebellflora.com/manually-uninstalling-an-expansion-or-stuff-pack-in-the-sims-3-for-mac/
