Missing save file

Yesterday when I opened some one of my save files is missing. I have been working on this particular save for over 5 years so really want to restore it.

I have no memory of deleting it, and all my other saves are still there when I select “load game”. Weirdly, my most recent save is duplicated, with the duplicate having the same name as the missing save, but when I open it it is not the missing save.

Weirdly, when I was playing with the missing save on Thursday it kept crashing!

any help on how to get it back would be greatly appreciated. My sims4 runs through iCloud on my mac, which has plenty of spare storage.

Run a proper search on your Mac - Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and run the following command:

    find ~ -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null

When the command prompt reappears it has finished the search. Copy/paste the output from Terminal here please.
