My game works until I try to pick a household

I keep getting this error code from my sims 4 game:

134:b378c837:4240d837

Does anyone know what it means?

My game works perfectly until I actually try to choose a household to play. It keeps recommending that I relaunch my game, but I've tried that several times and that hasn't worked. I've even relaunched Origin. I saw on some other forums that some of my cc might be outdated, so I went through the hundreds of cc downloads I have and deleted all of the ones that are supposedly outdated or broken. It still didn't work. Then, I removed mods/cc COMPLETELY from my game, and it STILL not working. I've also tried clearing my cache to no avail. I feel like I've exhausted all my troubleshooting ideas.

Same. I read online that if you saved the game after encountering the error that you will not be able to retrieve your played sim. I hope this is not true since I was working on a completionist sim.

I'm having the same problem after today's update! ☹️ Following & hoping they fix this soon--so frustrating.

Yeah! The only thing different today is that my origin updated, so that's my main suspect at this point.

Update: I completely uninstalled Origin from my computer and reinstalled it. Nothing changed.
THEN, I uninstalled the sims from my computer and reinstalled it....it's still not working.
What in the world is going on

I'm so upset. I have no mods and it's not working. I just got new packs. This is beyond frustrating! The game is completely unplayable! Literally!

me too! I played for ages on the 10th June no issues, updated this morning (11th June) and now I am getting error
134:b378c837:4240d837. Tells me to reload the game, it doesn't load any of my households, even in different worlds.

Estoy igual que vosotros, no puedo jugar ni mudando a la unidad doméstica, ni en otros barrios, quedo totalmente imposible jugar.... no tengo mods y el juego es original, me desespero!
