"I stumbled across and article where it was advised to move the Electronic Arts folder to your Desktop > Then Start the Sims 4 game so a new Electronic Arts folder is made in your iCloud Documents folder > send the CC over that is from your Desktop Electronic Arts folder to the iCloud documents The Electronic Arts folder t... which I did so but this time... my CC and Mods all appeared.."
Do you have a link to this article you reference?
"Then I started to question why my symlink path I created is not using the Electronic Arts folder that's on my SEAGATE hard drive but instead is using my iCloud document Electronic Arts folder?"
If the game is not loading data from the external drive it means the symlink has not been successfully created. If you attempt to create a symlink and have iCloud Drive enabled you must make sure the file path is correct in the Terminal command and accounts for iCloud Drive setup.
Hello, thank you for replying @Bluebellflora
So how would I make correction to make sure the symlink path is corrected?

It depends on your username and file names. The easiest option would be to disable iCloud Drive. Without sitting in front of your Mac and looking at the file structure, I can’t really help you. Perhaps if you read through the symlink instructions and few times so you have a really good understanding of it you can figure out the correct file paths for the Terminal command 🙂
