So how would I make correction to make sure the symlink path is corrected?

It depends on your username and file names. The easiest option would be to disable iCloud Drive. Without sitting in front of your Mac and looking at the file structure, I can’t really help you. Perhaps if you read through the symlink instructions and few times so you have a really good understanding of it you can figure out the correct file paths for the Terminal command 🙂
