Origin forcing update on Legacy Edition?? Jan 2020

Question

My Mac has switched to Legacy Edition as I don't have Metal (Mid 2010) and today Origin has asked me to update my game and I get the following error:&nbsp;Origin is not able to download The Sims™ 4 to /Applications/The Sims 4.app/Contents/Delta/GP08/Version.ini_DiP_STAGED. I'm confused because LE isn't supposed to have updates yet Origin won't let me play until I've updated?? Please help I just got the Seasons expansion pack and I'd really like to play before the hectic week ahead.

Please right click on the game in your Applications folder and select Show Package Contents. In the Finder window that opens navigate to Contents > GP08 and open Version.ini using TextEdit. Please copy and paste all of the text in that document into a post here.
