Tried to move into an apartment but it just shows a green patch when in move in, also the same when I try to visit them also

So you can now enter lots and aren't getting kicked back to the map screen anymore? Could you post a screenshot of the issue?

Do you play with Mods? If so , please move the Mods folder to the desktop, trash the localthumbcache.package file and then load the game to see if you still get the green patch.
