Sure! And I do have mods and cc but there all updated.
- @CocoaKindofFlow First try to repair your game. If that doesn't help, please test without any mods/cc.
So I got rid of all my mods and cc and It's still the same. I repaired it after removing the cc and mods as well an no difference. Do you think something went wrong during the download?
Also, once I deleted all of my cc and mods, I did a brand new game. When I go to make a sims character, ecvery other character is red and white with question marks. Do you think that may have something to do with the problem as well?
I did it and its still looking the same as the picture I tagged. I still can't get past pick a place to live in City Living and it's still in red and white with question marks in some of the cc and characters.
I also realized everything that is messed up is because of the City Living expansion pack. All of the CC on there is broken and I can't get passed select a place to live. My base game is working completely fine.

See the solution on page 1. Your game installation is most likely corrupted. You can't say the base game is working fine unless you have completely uninstalled the game and only reinstalled and played the base game without any pack data. I tried to do the solution in page 1 and it's still not working. I still can't get select a place to live. I do have the ea app and not the orgin app. Is there different steps for the ea app on my mac laptop?

I reference steps and links for EA App and Origin. Did you follow the instructions in step 2 for EA App?
