There is no disc version of The Sims 4 for Mac, it has always required Origin to download and play. There is now no way to play the game on a non-Metal Mac. The current version requires Metal support and the Legacy version is no longer available and even if still installed, will not run.

    can u help me? i had the regular edition, then i switched to a mac and had to download Legacy, but it worked. A few days ago the game updated and doesn't open it anymore, i've tried
    everything but it doesn't work Frown it appears this when i try to play

    There is no solution. As per the opening post on page 1 of this thread you need a Metal supported Mac to play The Sims 4. Your Mac does not support Metal and cannot be upgraded to do so.
