Sims 4 broken after recent update!!!

Hey yall!! So I have been playings sims 4 for about 6 months now, I havent had any past issues with updates and recently I have learned how to download different mods and ccs. Everything was going pretty good until this most recent update. After I updated the game, my sims 4 wouldnt launch. I tried repairing it and that still did not work. So I did some research and saw that this type of thing sims to be a problem. I got the sims 4 mod manager app for my mac to try and see which one of my ccs/mods was broken and I couldnt find any, so then I literally sorted through all of them, taking them all out and adding them in one by one and seeing which ones would cause my game to not launch (at this point removing all of my mods allowed me to open the game but I still wanted to play with my mods/ccs so I was trying to find the exact problem.). After about 3 hours the game still wouldnt load even after I went through everything so I made the tough choice of just starting fresh. I got rid of everything and uninstalled sims and all the mods/cc. I even updated my mac book and once I got sims 4 again, it was fine at first, I got a couple of things like clothes, hairs, stuff like that and even some mods. It was going fine until I tried to open the app again and its back to where we started. Wont launch and again, I got rid of all the mods again and it still wont launch. Is anyone else having this issue or is there anyway I can fix it? I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but please feel free to let me know what yall think!!
