Sims 4 crashing before reaching main menu

I am running on a Mac and was not having these specific issues before the game patch (04.29.25) but now the game will crash before it even reaches the loading screen. I subsequently updated my system hoping this would resolve the issue:

Mac 15.4.1  Apple M2 Max

I have copied and moved all of my files and the game loaded a new game without issue, so I created a new save. I then moved my old saves back into the new saves folder and was able to bring up a very old save (from 6 months ago), then I was able to find a newer save (from 2 days ago) and load it. I had removed all of my mods and felt comfortable adding my mods in one by one. When I went to start the game with 3 mods added (Mc Command, Andrew's Pose Player, and WW), I experienced the same problem, the game crashed before reaching the main menu.

I also experienced an issue with my graphics card but was able to solve that via this discussion. 

I am at a loss as to what to do now. The only other thing I can think of mentioning is that in my current/active EA folder on my computer the most recent save is in a scratch folder, I have some understanding as to what that means but I am hesitant to mess with it.

    I would normally merge your post into this master thread and direct you to the OP but merging is not currently a thing on these forums unfortunately so please read it and post where you feel is necessary for your issue - Game crashing or not loading AFTER UPDATING?     As your issue seems Mod related I would go there, as linked in that master thread. For what it's worth, your saves should not be in a scratch folder. The Scratch folder is created when you successfully launch the game IN the saves folder. When you quit the game it is automatically removed but if your game crashes it can sometimes be left behind but again, there should not be any Slot_XXXXXXXX.save files in there.
