Sims 4 doesn't want to start.

Hello everyone, At startup I get a black screen and the Sims 4 falls out. I see the blue start screen of Sims 4 and hear the music but after a while the music stops and my screen turns black. I play on Mac Apple.

These are all the things I've already done:

- Check your system requirement

- Update your system and the game

- Delete cache files

Run the game in window mode

- Check and restore game

- Restore permissions and caches of your Mac

- Remove and reinstall the game

I've already been in contact with EA Support but they also gave me things to try to fix but didn't work either. So through here is my last hope..

And how do I change the name of that map? Is this through the right mouse button?

I changed the name of the latest folder. But I still have the same problem.

I did it anyway! I changed the name of the recent map but that did not help (so the English folder) and then changed the Dutch folder and then it worked! Should I delete English folder? Or keep it? But when the game started, he created a new map.

I don’t know which language you’re playing in so which folder the game is loading your data from. Whichever folder isn’t being used can be removed but make sure you don’t have any saves or other data in there that you want to keep.
