Just tried this, added them in one at a time, and with each one it worked right after. Tried playing with all 3 and it worked, but when I closed & relaunched after that it crashed.

Ok. Can you please upload a save to a file sharing site so I can test it and PM me the link? Are you getting any lastCrash reports in your Sims 4 folder when it crashes? Please also upload those. - @rose_deluxe

I've loaded "Saved Game 1.1", the Nix family, then saved and quit the game, then managed to reload it again ok. One build item was missing and CAS items were too because I don't have the CC you use. No problems for me loading it though. Were you in live mode or build/buy when it crashed?
The "Saved Game 1" was also fine for me.
Should I try loading different households?Once I hit the home screen I don't have any issues, I can play my saves without worrying about crashing. It only crashes at the plumbob loading screen when I first start up the game. It's kinda hard to explain, but like, let's say I just installed the game for the first time. I go in, play, everything's fine, and then I close out when I'm done. The next time I play, I decide to install some mods. I install the mods, go in the game, play, everything's fine, and then I close out when I'm done. So far so good. The next time I play, I launch the game, but it suddenly crashes before I hit the home screen.
I feel like it would be a mods/CC problem since that's the last thing I change before the crash, but removing the mods folder doesn't solve anything so I'm extra confused.
