I have done that but still have the same issue.
I previously have also repaired the game through origin, made sure origin is disabled in-game, I've uninstalled and reinstalled both origin and Sims 4, I even restored my MacBook to factory settings incase it was the problem.
I don't use any mods or cc if that helps also.

Could you post a screenshot of your in-game graphics options? Could you set up a new user account on your Mac and see if it happens in that account?

Do you have anything running that could be conflicting with the game? Any apps launching on startup like monitoring software, antivirus, streaming? Could you also post a screenshot of the speckled screen you describe?- 6 years ago
Sorry for the delay in response.
I don't have any apps or programs that could conflict with the game. I completely restored my MacBook to its factory settings and wiped it of everything just in case it was the issue. I am completely stumped as to why Sims 4 just doesn't want to work for me :/
I've attached a couple of images of the speckled screen.
