Sims 4 Saves Freeze Upon Loading on Mac since April 18 Patch

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.97.42.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play on a Mac, launch any save.
What happens when the bug occurs? Every since I updated the game, when I open my game, it crashes as soon as I press "play" and unpause my sims game. My mac says it will send a report to Apple, and it's just sudden and quick. I've cleared the cache files, I've repaired my game in origin...some people have mentioned this may be due to EA's patch notes/Mac fixes. Wanted to post here to make sure it was known. ☹️
What do you expect to see? I just expect to play the game!
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Ever since I updated my game on my mac, which previously worked FLAWLESSLY with ulta level graphics...my game crashes instantly upon my save loading. ☹️
