Sims3 Base Game "unknown error occurred" upon launch, MacOS High Sierra
Hey there
So I've tried uninstalling, downloading through origin and all the rest of it and I still cannot get Sims 3 to work. I'm not very tech savvy so I got my partner to check it out and when he tried to use the uninstaller and select a game to uninstall, the base game wasn't even there, so does this mean it wasn't properly installed? It's not an issue with the expansion packs because I haven't even attempted to install them yet, it's just the BASE GAME. The base game won't work, every time I click on the icon on my desktop it says "unknown error occurred. I purchased a new Macbook Pro late 2017 model with MacOS High Sierra and I'm guessing the game just isn't compatible with the software. It used to work a few years ago on my old Macbook Pro late 2013 model but now it doesn't because it's also got High Sierra.
Is anyone else having the same issue? I guess I just won't be able to play the game at all!
