the base game is broken completely
i am truly so tired of these forced updates that only break the game even further. as a true fan of the game it's so disappointing when the game you love so much continues to be broken over and over ...

vlph1su63yzm maybe the issue is your Mac. It's an older Intel machine, with integrated graphics chip. What are the exact specs - model, year, CPU and RAM please.
Did you move any of the files from the old Sims 4 folder into the new one the game created?
Did you go into game options and change the default graphics options?When does it crash, at what point during loading/gameplay?
