The Sims 4 is accessing files that I can't find. (Mac)

So... I recently backed up and reset my game after downloading lots of cc (so I could easily troubleshoot for bad cc and take it out) and after putting that back up into my EA folder, where the origi...

The game will only load from the Sims 4 folder located in Documents > Electronic Arts. If there is no folder there, the game will recreate one. It is in the saves folder and Mods folder within that Sims 4 folder that you need to put your saves and CC.

The Sims 4 requires Origin to run, you will not be able to run it without Origin.

I'm aware of this, and it seems to have created a new folder, however, It's not in the electronic arts folder that I can see, which is what's confusing me. In addition to this, I am launching the Sims 4 through origin every time.

  Launch the game and click on load game then hover over one of the households to see the file path:
