Looks fine in my game. I would guess this may be to do with your graphics settings and Mac GPU. Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Thanks for checking it out in your game. I definitely have an older computer so that may be the culprit, but I don't remember this problem until very recently.
Here's the information:
macOS Catalina version 10.15.5 (19F101)
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012)
Processor 2.5 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Yes, that will be why. The Intel HD 4000 is an old chip and there may have been some changes to the graphics in-game which have caused this ☹️
