Will the most recent model of the MacBook Air be able to run Sims 4?

It has 

Dual-core 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor

Intel UHD Graphics 617

Fast SSD storage

8GB memory

    It may be able to run it but how well is down to your expectations. MacBook Airs are absolutely not designed for gaming. They have extremely low powered Intel graphics and will get hot when playing due to the hardware working overtime to keep up with the game requirements.
