[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

Ah me too, completely will not load after selecting household. 

@Kayleigh_milk Try using 'load' and selecting the specific save file you wish to open. This allowed me to play as normal.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 
Cas works, picking a season works, when you try to move a sim in the worlds do not show up in pick a world. Loading a different save game does not work, it is stuck on loading. 
What happens when the bug occurs? 
The worlds in The Sims 4 don't load and save games don't load either.
The game is unplayable
What do you expect to see? 
Worlds to show up when trying to move a sim and other saves to load (basically to be able to play the game)
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Uninstalled all to see if it was the problem, it was not. 
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? 
Happened after the most recent patch

I tried, didn't work for me either. 
When I try this it's stuck on the loading screen. 

same here, not tried a new game. will do that now. can you let me know if you do anything that fixes it?

@Kayleigh_milk Did you try completely shutting down the game, doing a repair, and then using the load function? I am repairing the game every time before I try to load it now.

Yeah! I can load the game now after repairing and using the load option.
Awesome! I will try to move a new sim in to see if that works.

Having to repair the game every time blows, but at least this seems to let the game function normally otherwise!

@leximdean Hi! Welcome to the game. Bugs suck.

Try exiting out of the game, going into origin, and using the gear box at the Sims4 page to "repair game." Once it finalizes, start the game. Instead of clicking the big round button with the > symbol, use the little load link to select your game file. Try opening your current game that way and see if it loads.

Note: you will need to use "repair game" after every time you shut the game down for this to work as far as I can tell. I've only been able to play with it a little, but this way IS letting me play the game!
