Could anyone tell me what is causing this Last Exception UI in Sims 4?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is causing the following "Last Exception UI" - I keep getting it, but not every time I play. I have tried removing my mods and putting them back in, while also deleting cache files. From my understanding, it seems to have something to do with setting a venue type, but why would that cause a last exception? Is this something I need to be worried about? Will it break my game? Thank you in advance to anyone who can help with this. I truly appreciate it.

    The last exception shows when some mod or CC interferes with the game..Unfortunately, this also appears when it catches an error in the EA script.
    If you have already checked mods and CC now you can delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder and fix the game in Origin what will check EA files... This file will recreate but without saved errors.
    After this, if your game is working in your place, I would not care about this.

  • @kreatora Thank you, I will try repairing the game in Origin. I re-downloaded the latest MCCC post-patch twice (their were two Hot Fixes). If repairing through Origin does not work, I guess I'll have to pull out MCCC and contact Deaderpool. Thank you for your input!

    You should check all your mods and look for updated versions. More than half script mods are a large part of CC are broken after this patch. Almost all script mods are already updated.

    You can delete more than this document. For example, you can delete localthumbcache.package file and all folders with the word "cache" in the name. This kind of "autumn cleaning". The game will restore all deleted folders and files after starting it. Of course, it will recreate everything except for the Last Exception documents that you can throw away each time they appear
  • @AalyahReed i think your describing my issue too? sometimes ive been able to just fix it by playing aroud taking out certain mods and putting them on my desktop but right now im having trouble fixing the issue.
    my game hasn't fully crashed yet, it has frequently. today it has been frozen a bunch of times with the pinwheel mouse.
    in my game, I also am dealing with my game icons like the sims needs and phone, calendar, and notebook to be blurry/squared out. has this been an issue for others?
