So, I have a brand new gaming desktop, and I now have several drives. I have downloaded Origin on C and The Sims 4 on E. But when I started The Sims 4 I had an error code: de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b
I don't have any mods as I do not use it, I repaired the game and it did not work, I uninstalled the game and I reinstalled it and the same error code appears. Do I need to have The Sims 4 on the same drive as Origin and my OS?
@WhimsyEmma Please try the troubleshooting steps listed here:
Origin shouldn't need to be on the same drive as your games. But if you'd like to test anyway, just in case Origin is being extra difficult, you can uninstall it and reinstall on E. Clear its cache and then uninstall it "the hard way"; these two methods have some overlap, but neither removes all related files on its own.
