Does sims4 work on this laptop?

Hey! I have this laptop: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Ultra-5 16GB/512/OLED14

Is SIMS4 going to possibly work on this laptop? I have many expansion packs. I think it has enough space, but what about everything else? I mostly use my laptop for school, so will it slower down if I download my SIMS4 here? My old laptop is Windows 10 and i would rather not use it anymore.

Another question. When I first got my SIMS4 it was on disk. I also have couple expansion packs on disk. If I download SIMS4 to this laptop, would I need it, because this laptop doesn't have place for disks.

Thank you already!

You don't mention the graphics or the CPU so I'm limited to saying that it likely will work on lowest setting. If it has the Intel Core Ultra 5-125H CPU it should be able to run the game on at least medium settings. Without more info on CPU/Graphics that is all I can say.

As long as you have redeemed the packs you can just download them from the EA App. Otherwise an external DVD drive is cheap.

    Thank you so much!

I'm not sure are this right but the graphic should be Intel® Arc and CPU is Intel Core Ultra 5 125H.

  • Pelikissa  With all due respect to jpkarlsen, the graphics chip in the 125H CPU should be able to run Sims 4 on high settings, if not high-ultra, even with all packs installed.  It's a very good chip as far as integrated graphics go and is significantly faster than chips we know can handle medium-high settings.

There is also no harm in installing the game and seeing how it runs.  At worst, you're not happy with performance and have to turn down the settings, or you're not happy with the graphics and need to compromise on performance.  But that doesn't seem likely.

I will say that if your laptop's screen has a resolution higher than 1920x1080 or 1920x1200, you may need to play at one of these resolutions to improve performance, as higher resolutions make the game much more demanding.  But you can experiment with resolutions as well.
