Starbunn13 If you haven't already, please test with no mods or custom content at all, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Rather than saving over your progress, you can use "save as" to create a new save slot.
If this doesn't help, please test a new save, still with no mods or cc. If the new save is fine, go back to the old save and switch to a different household, using "save as" again if you want.
