houxxx You can move whatever you want over to the new account. The C:\Users\Public folder is a good way to move data since it's accessible from all user accounts. On the off chance you break something, you could trash this account and create another new one, then not transfer the cc this time around.
As for why this happened, I really have no idea. But the important thing is that you left behind the cause, whether it was a user setting or corruption or something else, in the old account.
puzzlezaddict I might try a few more things on my main user account before I stick to using the new account for sims. I didn’t uninstall the game because really it’s the last thing I want to do so is there a way to erase all the data? I saw something about simply deleting the sims folder, restarting the laptop and then opening the game again so it’ll create a new folder. Is this all I need to do or is there more to it? There’s mostly only sims to lose with the game which some I can find again and some I can leave behind. I only downloaded the game again maybe about two weeks ago so anything that carried over from previous usage is from the gallery or one drive for mods.
I did have a sim that was corrupted when I would open them in the gallery but when being asked to deleted, it wouldn’t. I used the EA repair option with the game and it was fine after? So not sure if that was something to wonder about too.
