game charged to my bank account but no game

i purchased the sims 4 with my debit card 3 days ago. EA charged my bank account $21 but decided to not send any confirmation email of my purchase, or add the game to my library. ive also checked my order history, and its completely blank. doesnt even show that its pending or anything indicating i made an attempt to purchase, regardless of the money missing in my account. i waited 24 hours, and then 48 hours and still nothing. the charge went through and was authorized through my bank account so i know that isnt the issue. EA decided to charge me, but wont give me what i paid for. ive tried to live chat, and nothing. ive searched all edges of the web for some help or advice, and all im reading is to wait 24 hours. ITS BEEN 3 FULL DAYS NOW. i want my game or my money back, but EA doesnt seem to be making an attempt at either. im not going to even attempt to repurchase and have the same nightmare happen. so thank you EA GAMES and ORIGIN for screwing me out of my hard earned money i thought would be worth spending on a game i love. then companies like this wonder why people illegally pirate their games. ill wait another day, and if nothing is resolved im boycotting EA and ORIGIN and filing a claim with my bank. load of crooks.

  • Did you show EA the proof of purchase? 

    Give these a try:

    The game no longer shows up in Origin

    Try the following things: 

    • Restart Origin.
    • Log out and back in and use the email address instead of the user name. Make sure to use the one you used to register the game in the first place.
    • Reinstall Origin.
    • Restart your router/modem.
    • Make sure the game isn't hidden by accident. To check, put the filter to Hidden Games. If it's there, right-click on the game to unhide ((click on the spoiler below to view an exemplary screenshot))

    ive tried to take with an EA rep and have gotten no response. ive tried to live chat and nothing. ive looked in all the filters, uninstalled and reinstalled origin, logged out and logged back in, checked my email, everything. ive tried all the suggestions youve given and still nothing.

    I'm sorry to hear you are having issues to get in contact with our advisers. Could you tell us which problem are you having with the chat? Does the chat window not open?

    The chat window opens but I waited over and hour and nobody responded

    It seems to be a connection issue then @cmcMCMXCIV1. I can see you have two accounts, could you make sure the game is not in this account instead of the first one you used?

    It's there now. Says it's completed, but I still haven't received an email with the product code/serial number

    That's normal @cmcMCMXCIV1, the game is automatically added to your account, so you don't need an email with the code. If you log into Origin with the account where the game is in, you will find the game in your library and you will be able to download it 🙂
