game crashes (when going to sleep)

I was playing in willowcreek earlier this day and the game kept crashing. Restarting worked. But after I moved to San myshuno, the game crashes constantly, about a few seconds into loading the game - mostly when my sim wants to go to sleep. I thought it was a broken lot but it seems like it's the whole game. Does anyone have those problems, too? Kept happening before and after I updated the game...
