ellassmith22 There's no reason to think your saves are corrupted. I would still (and now) make a backup copy of the saves and Tray files, and zip these two folders before copying them to an external drive, USB stick, or whatever you have handy. Zipping protects the files to some extent and also of course means they take up less space.
I'd still be happy to help with DDU, if you're interested. But if you're ready for a new computer, that's understandable. I can also make suggestions in whatever price range you want, or I can look over something you've picked out to make sure it'll meet your needs and is reasonably-priced. (Picking out new computers for people is one of my things, like here.) Just let me know how I can help.
Thank you so much! This computer I have now used to be a family computer so there's a lot of random stuff on it, plus a lot of my brother's old games that he now plays on his gaming computer. I typically use my macbook for most things, so I literally only use the computer to play the sims, since the other games I play are on console. I am wanting to have like the cheapest computer I can get to play just this game on it while having enough storage to run it with good graphics and hold some mods. Ideally, I would not want to spend more than maybe $200 on something, since I already have a monitor. If there isn't really anything that cheap, then I'll prob just save up for something, but I'd love your suggestions.
If it helps- On my game I have like two actual save files, and I mostly only have CC mods for builds/CAS and not any script mods, though I want to download some. This computer has run too slow with them in the past so I just deleted them.
Once again thank you so much!!!!
