Game won’t load or save after installing Enchanted by Nature

No Mods

Playing on PC

i just installed the new pack and had of the CAS items make my sim disappear when equipped or it makes question marks appear over their skin. The game won’t load into the new neighbourhood and if you load into some where else (like Willow Creek) the game then won’t save at all, it just keeps ‘saving’ but never completes it. Please can someone fix this! My game is now un playable!

Hi, unfortunately after reviewing the list  and trying all the proposed solutions (including uninstalling and reinstalling the game) the issue still persists. I'm assuming it has something to do with either Enchanted by Nature or the update that was released alongside it.

  • Endercat19  Try deleting and reinstalling only the new pack.  Close the EA App and make sure the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager's background processes list.  Open [install location]\The Sims 4, here by default:

    C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4

and delete the EP19 folder.  Then open the Delta folder and delete the EP19 folder inside that.

    Clear the EA App's cache:

Repair the game (EA App > Sims 4 > Manage > Repair), and download EBN again.  Then let me know what problems are still present.

  • I was playing and adjusted the display settings then it crashed and then I tried relaunching and it wouldn't start. And now, as I tried to repair it, it says I don't own Enchanted by Nature??? I was literally playing it last night!

  • SweetVeggieAmai  The error when repairing is a known issue:

For the crashing, you can delete Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, to revert all your in-game settings to default.

I'd also like to see a dxdiag from your computer.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
