Game won't open TS4x64.exe error (please help)

this morning i downloaded some cc and then opened the game, but this error screen came up (see picture. first one is og in italian, second one is english translation i made with google translate) and there's just an ok button to close the app. and it keeps coming up every time. i tried taking out the new cc from the folder, nothing. i tried updating my pc, nothing. all my script mods are up to date. i don't know what to do, please help.

  • oh sorry the first pic is in english, second one is in italian

edit: fixed, the solution was to repair the game through the ea app (making sure to backup your save files and taking out all the mods) and if it didn't work (for me this alone didn't) to start freshly making sims4 generate another electronic arts folder, to do this you simply edit the name of the folder 'electronic arts' to 'electronic arts1', then open the sims4, if everything works correctly it will make a new folder 'electronic arts'. you turn on eventual mods options in game, close the game, put your save files from the old electronic arts folder or the backup folder into the new saves folder, then all the eventual mods you took out from the old folder into the new mods folder, and open the game again. you will have all your saves and mods again. this worked for me

  • ugoscago  Please remove your entire Mods folder, delete localthumbcache.package, and test again.

If that doesn't help, provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
