redpointgirl There isn't another way to access the Sims 4 content you bought, unfortunately. It can't be transferred to your EA account, or another Steam account, or shared between accounts. The base game probably only works with family sharing because it's free.
Your saves have nothing to do with this though, at least not directly. They're transferrable to any computer using any EA account, as in, you could send them to me and I could play them. They won't work well without all your owned packs of course, and some might not work at all depending on which worlds you were playing in. But if and when you do regain access to your previous DLC, your saves will be just as playable as they always were.
