I can't interact with my infants after the new update

I have figured out how to get my game to load in with every mod updated, however when I go into my family lot with my infants on their play mat it will not let me fix their needs or let alone pick them up. I have tried to repair my game to se if it helps but it didn't work. I also got a message saying that there were no adult sims around when the two  parents were there. Please help.
