Amerillous Yes, anything your account owns, it will still own after you reset your computer. The two are independent of each other. Just make sure you sign into the same EA account.

So I'm getting ready to do a factory reset on my Dell PC. I am not worried about losing any customized characters. I haven't played in a while. I have read that there was an update for 2026. Do you all know if I can re-download ALL my ts4 packs that have been purchased?

Always save your good saves on a one drive usb that way you can bring them back if your new saves aren't working.
HalienTheAlien5 If you only saved the sims to your Library, then they're gone, unfortunately. The Library content is only stored in Tray inside the Sims 4 user folder. You would specifically need to upload the sims to the Gallery to have an online copy available.
If you use OneDrive, or at least if you never bothered to disable it, you can look for some content on onedrive.com, either in My Files or the Recycle Bin. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Yeah, I'm okay with those saves being gone. As for the sims, i did check off all the options I could and nothing worked

if you didn’t back up your saves to an external hard drive then those saves are definitely gone. Now as far as your sims are concerned I see you wrote custom so make sure you are clicking the show all button I think it’s called or include custom content. I thought I had lost some of my sims only to realize they were there I just didn’t realize it because of this. I hope you recover them as that is truly unfortunate for you. I know how it is to lose all your hard work.
