Issue after automatic update – rollback possible?

As far as I know, Mac users can try using Time Machine, but only if they have a restore point from before the update. I tried that myself because I was working on a small mod, but it didn’t help. Even with automatic updates turned off, the EA app would not let me launch the game unless I updated first. Honestly, this is the first time I feel like the situation has become this serious

On top of that, there would probably need to be leftover files from the older update records in the EA folder, so there might be a very small chance of trying it that way. But it’s a very difficult situation, and honestly, it feels almost impossible
